Dear Pan Am Crew Member,

Whether you began your career with Pan Am in the 60’s, 70’s or 80s, you are part of one of the greatest legacies of the twentieth century. We can all be proud and feel privileged to have worked for the airline that launched the Jet Age.

Though jet travel itself has evolved in countless ways since that momentous flight from Idlewild to Paris in 1958, Pan Am remains the single most glamorous and iconic symbol of air travel in history.  Gone from the skies since 1991, Pan Am is in the zeitgeist more than ever today,  and our legacy is undergoing a renaissance as we speak.

Beyond sharing its symbolic history, former Pan Am employees are an elite family dedicated to one another.  As World Wings International Members,   we are proud to honor  Pan Am with our philanthropic endeavors and culture of unity. From our various local charities to our international charity, CARE, we have shown the world that Pan Am still exists as a “good will ambassador” throughout the world.

I started my career with Pan Am in 1979, and I recently accepted the position as Vice President of Membership, with the specific goal of keeping our legacy alive by recruiting new and enthusiastic “crew members.”

Our meetings and our conventions are fun! With World Wings membership, you have the unique opportunity to celebrate and bond, all the while furthering wonderful causes.

Please join our crew! If there is not a local chapter near you, I invite you to become a Member-At-Large. We’ll keep you posted on all our events and international conferences, and welcome your participation.

Let’s fly together… And let’s make World Wings International strong and fresh as ever. We have important work to do, and lots of Champagne to uncork!
